PV's 7th Grade takes 2nd

PV's 7th grade boys team took second place in the Castlewood tournament over the weekend, finishing behind Abingdon. They took wins over Honaker,Chilhowie,Richlands and Grundy. They also took 2nd in the Wise tourney a couple of weeks ago, just behind Kingsport. Congrads to the PV 7th graders for a good showing.

I have been to the castlewood tournament, it is very well organized by the HEAD BASKETBALL COACH. COACH WILLIAMS does a great job and has good help from his assisstants and players. He is a class act.

Actually that tournament is a community project. Coach Poole started that tournament years ago, and everyone involved in Castlewood athletics chips in to help. Coach Williams has just continued what the others started.

yes i remember when coach poole was there and it was an excellant tournament. iguess i should have congradulated everyone involved for a job well done. its nice that coach williams has great support. a very well run community project with great leadership
